Dark Matter

The Swissbau fair is the biggest building trade fair in Switzerland. In took place in Basel.

Cristina Bellucci  is an architect, who I collaborate with for her project “Dark Matter“. This collaboration was a privat happening.

Dark Matter is a relaxing zone for Swissbau fair visitors. The concept  was the idea of being an astronaut hovering in space. Sitting in this chair surrounded by the dark curtain with LED light, the visitors got distance from the noise and hectic energy of the Swissbau fair.

That distance is a chance process the impression of the fair so far.

Cristina designed the whole set. My work was to assist her and to give creative input outside her bubble.

Cristina designed the silver chair especcially for the swissbau.

It was handmade manufactered in Modena, Italy.
